Inflammation is not a condition in itself but a byproduct of a pre-existing medical condition. Inflammation serves as a reaction by the body to something dangerous or damaging like an injury or a foreign germy invader. Inflammation marks the start of the healing process by the body, and when it is present, it means that the body is doing what it needs to in order to correct damage and restore healthy tissue and cells. Just like other ways in which the immune system of the body responds, inflammation serves as a protecting and healing method.

Often, muscle pain results from spasms, tightened muscles or circulatory conditions. There are many prescription medications that can treat muscle pain. Further, aside from a literal state of over relaxation, there are other side effects that can be associated with these medications.
Back pain is one of the most common, everyday maladies and can affect people of all ages and all states of health. This condition is regularly caused by occupational sources and can be attributed to lifestyle changes as well.
